Over the many years we have had the good fortune to work with some amazing brides in the Russian community of Southern California. Each time we have created custom changes to our gowns in order to mesh together their cultural and personal styles. This time was no exception.
Amanda Stupin came to us in search of her perfect dream gown. Many custom changes later and she was stunning. She looked beautiful. We are so proud of you Amanda and glad that your day was flawless!

Fall 2008 Styles Now Arriving!

We want to let everyone know that our Fall 2008 styles are now arriving. We have beautiful wedding gowns coming in daily. After Six, Dessy, Alfred Sung, and Bill Levkoff bridesmaid dresses are coming in by the box full. Amazing colors and beautiful necklines. Andrea Dodson is a talented vocal performer and we had the pleasure to help her find a gown a few years ago for the statewide high school Spotlight Awards competition at the Los Angeles Music Center. She chose a Mori Lee, royal blue, tulle gown loaded with sparkles. This dress was chosen for it's stage presentation and wowed her audience.



Andrea was afraid the dress would be too fitted in the bodice to sing properly. Our tailor, Marianne, simply patted her shoulder and said "Let's give it a try." Without a skipped beat, Andrea had her queue. You should have heard this fresh faced, high school student let the aria fly in our salon! "It was amazing!" says Marianne, "It brought tears to my eyes, and other patrons stopped to watch also."



We are so proud of Andrea!

We had the pleasure to see her again as a bride this Spring. She looked gorgeous in her gown and her same spirit shines through.

Congratulations To Our New Managers!

The Dresser would like to congratulate our new managers Diana and Alice!

Diana is taking over as Inventory and Customer Service Manager and has been with The Dresser for 5 years. Diana has 8 years of management experience, and a well established reputation for her friendliness and dedication.

Alice will be our new Marketing and Customer Service Manager. She started with The Dresser 5 years ago and is back after a leave of absence for the birth of her daughter Ruby. Alice has an extensive 14 years of management experience in women's retail.

Both Diana and Alice have been buyers for The Dresser for 4 years and have extensive experience helping bride's select gowns that not only fit their body shape, but complete the bride's vision of the perfect dress.
